Credentials
TESA offers a wide range of credentials, from magnetic and proximity cards to virtual keys accessed through a smartphone app. TESA credentials are encrypted and compatible with all major RFID standards, including MIFARE Classic, ISO 15693, DESFire, and iCLASS.
Digital Smartphone Key
Through the smartphone solutions Openow™ (Bluetooth Low Energy) or the TESA Hotel App for wireless installations, it is possible to open TESA devices using your smartphone.
The Openow™ App uses Bluetooth technology along with Update On Card functionality, allowing the smartphone to download lock events and status updates and send them to the server. The TESA App enables remote, online opening of wireless devices.
Keycard
Cards can be provided blank or customized with the hotel’s logo.
Options include magnetic stripe cards (Hi-Co and Lo-Co) or MIFARE proximity cards.
Bracelets, Key Fobs, or Stickers
Proximity credentials are available in silicone bracelet format, key fobs, or stickers with an embedded proximity chip.
The sticker can be placed anywhere and functions like a standard card when presented to a reader.
TESA proximity credentials can be easily encoded for duplication and are compatible with other hotel systems, including vending machines, POS terminals, and restaurant access.
Electronic Key
This key is used to operate C-Tec cylinders and functions like any other credential.
Access rights can be added or removed through the software.
It also allows for mechanical master keying to open standard cylinders from TESA’s catalog.
